Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson was rushed to an LA area hospital early Wednesday morning after a “possible overdose”.
LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson's 15-year-old daughter Paris Jackson was reportedly rushed to a Los Angeles hospital early on Wednesday morning, her grandmother's attorney, Michael Koskoff said.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the LA County Sheriff's Department and Fire Department responded to a "medical emergency" at the Jackson family compound in Calabasas.
The L.A. County Fire Department described the call as a "possible overdose" and said a patient was taken to a hospital.
A source told celebrity news website TMZ that Paris has "tried this [a possible suicide attempt] in the past" but "this was far more serious. It was not a cry for help."
Several tweets on Paris Jackson's Twitter feed indicate that the teenager may have been troubled.
The most recent tweet, from 11:26pm on Tuesday, read 'yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay'
Koskoff, who is representing Paris' grandmother Katherine Jackson in the wrongful death trial against concert promoter AEG, told NBC News that his client would not be in court Wednesday.
Paris and her brother are expected to testify at some point during the trial.
