If you thought NASA’s New Horizons mission was done blowing your mind, you were wrong
NASA's New Horizons mission has been dropping mind-blowing images and awesome science all week. They just did it again.
As New Horizon's Principle Investigator Alan Stern said early in Friday's news conference, "If you're seeing a cardiologist, you might want to leave the room."
Here's the space candy Stern and his team fed us today.
Exciting thing number 1: a new high-resolution "true color" image of Pluto. (Pictured above.)
Exciting thing number 2: a night-side view of Pluto, showing the glow of its atmosphere.
Exciting thing number 3: evidence of recent geological activity similar to Earth's glacial ice flows.
Exciting thing number 4: a simulated "flyover" of the planet's icy plains and mountains.

The NASA team has only looked at 4 to 5 percent of the total data, says Stern. The rest is still on the spacecraft. Much of the most exciting data and images won't be available until September.
At that point, Stern promises, it will be "raining presents."
