China displays 14 giant panda cubs. You’re welcome.

Do you ever really need a reason to gaze upon cute giant panda cubs?

We didn't think so.

In any case, China has obliged, displaying 14 giant panda cubs that were bred through artificial means at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Base in Sichuan province.

A total of 20 cubs were born at the Chengdu base this year, and 17 were lucky enough to survive. The first ten days are crucial to a panda cub's survival, as that period is when it's most vulnerable to disease.

To give you some idea of their size, Meng Meng, the oldest, weighs 6.6 lbs, while Ya Yi, the youngest, only weighs 1.5 lbs.
