The British nurse who died after a prank by two Australian DJs reportedly left a note blaming the pair for her death.
Jacintha Saldanha had been on duty when the DJs, from radio network 2DayFM, made a prank call trying to glean information about the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
Prince William's wife, who is pregnant, had been hospitalized at King Edward VIIs Hospital in London with complications.
Saldanha let through a call from Mel Greig and Michael Christian to a duty nurse, having fallen for their impersonations of the Queen and Prince Charles.
The 46-year-old mother was found hanged days later, reportedly leaving a note to her employers that said the actions of Greig and Christian had led to her death.
The London Sunday Times reported that the hand-written note also asked the two Australians to pay her mortgage.
It reads:
'"Please accept my apologies. I am truly sorry. Thank you for all your support. I hold the Radio Australians Mel Greig and Michael Christian responsible for this act. Please make them pay my mortgage. I am sorry.''
The prank call made global headlines, while Saldanha's suicide triggering a backlash against the radio network and the hosts, who have both since returned to work.

According to the Fairfax media, the radio station was last month granted the right to defend itself at the inquest into Saldanha's death.
An attorney for 2DayFM lawyer, Maya Sikand, noted her client had apologized for any "unforeseen and totally unintended consequences of the call".
