They are Sochi's sister act. The Dufour-Lapointe sisters, Justine, Chloé and Maxime will be representing Canada at the Winter Games in Sochi.
The trio are all freestyle skiers.
And now they hope to share the medals podium together.
"We never consider it a rivalry," said Maxime Dufour-Lapointe after a training session at Sochi. "We push each other, but it's all in a great way."
The D-Ls, as they’re called, started out skiing in the Laurentians, north of their home in Montreal. All the sisters were in ski lessons by the age of 3.
"We always train together," said Maxime Dufour-Lapointe. "There's not much we don't do together actually. We go to the gym together, we go to training camps overseas together, we room together."
It’s possible that a Dufour-Lapointe could win gold, silver and bronze in women’s moguls.
"I think moguls skiing is all about your personality," said Maxime Dufour-Lapointe. "It's technical. But what the judges see, what the crowd sees is your personality and your energy."
The last time three sisters competed at the same Winter Games was 54 years ago, in Squaw Valley in 1960, when skiers Thérèse, Anne-Marie and Marguerite Leduc all represented France.
