I am a big travel buff and as the new year started, I got to thinking about all the trips that I wanted to take this year.
I had a great time visiting India and Hungary last year and I wanted to go to some cool places this year as well.
So, I started looking around at all sorts of lists that come out this time of the year – the top 10 of all things travel – and found one from Lonely Planet. It has the list of top 10 cities to visit in 2014.
Considering it had Chicago, Riga, and Auckland – three places that I have been eyeing to go to, for a long time – I liked it immediately and at the same time it sparked the designer in me and gave me an idea to make a visualization out of the list.
Have you traveled to one of these cities? What tips do you have … great sights, good restaurants? Let me know in the comments below.
