You may not know it, but Israeli TV is taking the US by storm. Showtime’s Homeland, up for three Golden Globe awards this weekend was originally an Israeli program called Hatufim (Abductees/English title: ‘Prisoners of War’). Reporter Daniel Estrin explains why nearly half a dozen shows in development at US networks are based on hit Israeli series.
