Advocacy group Global Witness has obtained a leaked document that reveals Libya’s investments. Gadhafi’s government has hidden away billions of dollars of its state oil revenues in financial institutions overseas, including in the United States and in Europe. Robert Palmer is a campaigner with Global Witness; he says that it’s vital that the people of Libya know where their country’s money is.
