U.S. government may be stepping softly towards nationalization of Citibank

Following the collapse in bank stocks late last week, the U.S. government announced yesterday it is considering bailing out Citigroup even further. This could increase the government’s stake in the company from 25 to 40 percent. To explore whether this is a step towards nationalization, we are joined by Peter Morici, economist and professor at the University of Maryland.
