The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held last night in New York City. John Mellencamp, The Ventures, The Dave Clarke Five, and Leonard Cohen were among the new inductees, but most of the attention was focused on the most controversial addition to the hall: the dance pop icon Madonna.
