As national unemployment continues to hover at 9.1 percent, black Americans continue to be the group hit hardest by the recession. The Bureau of Labor Statistics employment figures for August showed an increase in the number of unemployed black Americans to 16.7 percent.  Ahead of his address last night before a joint session of Congress, President Obama faced criticism from members of the Congressional Black Caucus who urged the President to be “bold” in his speech. Was the President bold enough? Congressman David Scott  (D-GA), member of the Congressional Black Caucus, says if he thinks Obama was bold enough.
