Minnesota’s state government is poised to re-open after an almost three-week shutdown. Lawmakers agreed late in the night on a budget. We’re joined now by Marty Owings, capitol reporter for our affiliate station KFAI, who has been reporting on the shutdown, and Jeff Maday, who works for the Canterbury Park racetrack in Shakopee, Minn. Maday has had to lay off 1000 workers since the shutdown.
