Steve talks with NPR’s John McChesney about the problems that some Western activists are causing for Malaysian environmentalists. Civil disobedience by a few Westerners against logging operations has led to cries of “environmental colonialism” from the government. McChesney recently returned from Malaysia. He says many local activists are politely asking their Western brethren to take their actions elsewhere.
