Guantanamo detainee could be in Canada next year

Omar Khadr was sentenced to eight years for war crimes in Afghanistan, including the killing of a US soldier. The sentence requires Khadr, who is Canadian, to serve one more year in the Guantanamo prison, before asking for permission to go to Canada.
