Things get rough in today’s Geo Quiz. The city we’re looking for is preparing to host the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It would be continental Europe’s first taste of the brutal sport.

Well, if you saw “Fight Club,” you have an idea. You can punch, choke, and stomp on your opponent. You just can’t bite him or gouge his eyes.

The event is scheduled for June 13th, much to the displeasure of city officials. Here are a few more hints. The city is in on the Rhine River, in western Germany.

It was almost completely destroyed during World War Two. But some buildings and monuments from all periods survived. One such survivor is the largest Gothic church in northern Europe.
