Patience. That’s what you’ll need for today’s Geo Quiz. That’s because getting there will take time and effort.

Just ask resident Paul Kelly.

?If you were to get to our island…?

OK we’re looking for the name of ONE of the Shetland Islands.

Its name is Old Norse for ‘fat island’ because the land was rich and fertile.

The name’s not the only thing the Viking settlers left behind. Folks here play a board game where you sandwich, squish and even crush your opponent.

So, guess the name of the island?

Time now to answer our Geo Quiz. We were looking for one of the Shetland Islands north of Scotland.

Vikings first settled it.

And islanders celebrate their Viking past by staging what they call the first world championship of an ancient game called Hnefatafl.

Peter Kelly is here to give us the name of our mystery island.
