Egypt’s Government Fires Top Police Officers
Egypt’s government today fired nearly 700 top police officers to cleanse the discredited and widely unpopular force. As Ursula Lindsey reports, the government appears to be attempting to meet at least some key demands of the protesters still gathered in Tahrir Square.
