There are protests from both pro and anti-government groups in Sana’a Yemen, Friday, as President Ali Abdullah Saleh vowed to “stand firm” in the face of calls for his resignation. Defections of high-level government officials has indicated that the opposition movement was gaining ground, but so far the president has refused to step down.
