British amputee veterans prepare to walk to the North Pole

A team of British ex-servicemen who have all lost limbs in the line of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan have announced a plan to become the first amputees to walk to the North Pole.

It’s a project called ?Walking with the Wounded? and they are aiming to inspire other servicemen and raise money for their wounded colleagues to build new lives. Prince Harry has also pledged to join the expedition.

The project leader is Ed Parker and he is joins us from his home in Norfolk, England.
