Bollywood movie piracy

The World
The World

(So what does the Indian film industry want Congress to do to curb piracy?) We want government help in conducting raids or put a scare into these stores because the problem is these stores don't seem to fear that something will happen to them. When we go to them to confront their piracy, they literally laugh at us. (How does a film made in Bollywood get to here in the US as a pirated movie?) Once a movie is released, the prints travel around the globe about a week before. And these piraters look for a print anywhere and in this new digital format all you need is one copy. And they're not worried about the quality or anything, they just want to make a quick buck. So then these stores download them and distribute them around the world and in the US. (It's hard for one to think these mom and pop stores making any impact on such an enormous industry as Bollywood.) Well they're stealing our product and not any of that is going to anyone involved in the movie making or the government. If this continues, the budgets won't be there for good movies to be made.
