Iraq’s largely Shiite government issued an arrest warrant Monday for Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi, a Sunni, alleging that he was behind the assassinations of police officers and government officials. Jack Healy, reporter for The New York Times, covers the story in Tuesday’s paper.
