Christopher Livesay is a journalist based in Rome.

Christopher Livesay is an award-winning multimedia journalist based in Rome, Italy. His recent work focuses on Pope Francis, Europe’s debt crisis, and immigration. He has reported from Europe, Mexico, and across the US for PBS FRONTLINE, NPR, and the BBC/PRI, among other outlets, and has appeared on the CBC, FOX News and Italian state broadcaster Rai.
He holds a master’s degree (highest honors) from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in New York City.
Livesay is currently a staff reporter for the English and foreign desks at ANSA, the leading Italian news agency, where he was part of the team that broke the story of Benedict XVI’s shocking abdication.
