Award-winning news producer/journalist Gregory Branch ‘cut his teeth’ in the news divisions of ABC, CBS, and NBC, including stints with CBS News’ "America at war" coverage of the Iraq war; “Dateline NBC”; as the Weekend News Manager for the CBS News Foreign Desk; CBS News' London bureau; CBS News' “60 Minutes”, and ABC News’ PrimeTime Live.

In the cable arena, Branch produced, wrote, and directed popular reports out of Sudan, Liberia and South Africa for BET News, where he also served as the managing editor. He was a bureau producer for ESPN. Branch produced for cable upstarts Current TV, the Gospel Music Channel and executive produced an interview show for the Black Family Channel called “Inside the Congressional Black Caucus”.

As an independent producer/writer/director Branch has co-produced award-winning documentaries for “Life 360” (PBS/ABC News) and “Egg: The Arts Show” (PBS). He executive produced an independent feature film, called “Bekhal’s Tears”, which takes a look at Kurdish women’s rights in post-Saddam Hussein Iraq.

Branch has recently completed a Kaiser Family Foundation Media Fellowship.
