I’m a freelance radio journalist and writer from New York City. My work has aired on NPR affiliates WNYC and WWNO and has been published in outlets like Crain’s New York, Gotham Gazette, the New York Daily News and Voices of New York.In the last few years, I have waitressed in New Orleans, taken on PR and Marketing for a travel agency in New York and traveled to community radio stations across Chile with a Fulbright research grant. Throughout, I’ve always tried to tell stories that amplify marginalized voices and make important political and economic issues more accessible. In 2013, I decided to dedicate myself to journalism full time and started by getting my Master’s at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, where I was able to get my hands dirty with video production and other digital storytelling tools.
