There are municipal elections in Jerusalem at the end of the month. One man hopes to be the first Palestinian voted onto the city council. To win, he’ll need Palestinians to break a five-decade boycott against voting in Israeli city elections.
Israel’s prime minister has raised the possibility of dividing Jerusalem into two capitals… one Israeli, one Palestinian. It’s something that’s long been a taboo issue in Israel. But many Palestinians living in Jerusalem aren’t too crazy about the idea either. Correspondent Matt Gutman reports.
