For many Israelis, including musician Dudu Tassa, Arabic music has never been of much interest. Then Tassa discovered the music of his once-famous grandfather, who emigrated from Iraq. And now Tassa is bringing a modern version of that Arabic music into Israeli’s concert halls and consciousness.
