And yes, through the all-seeing eyes of vengeance-seeking Facebook users, the car's owner was tracked down within 24 hours.
The group isn't releasing the perpetrator or perpetrators' names, perhaps to spare them from Facebook users with sacks, SUVs and a taste for eye-for-an-eye retribution.
Said one Facebook user, expressing a popular sentiment: "The owner should also suffer the same fate of the poor dog!"
