Certainly one of the weirdest weddings proposed in recent memory may soon take place in Sweden, Gawker reported.
A vampire – that is, a woman who killed a man to drink his blood – and a cannibal – that is, a man who killed a woman to eat her flesh – have reportedly fallen in love in a Swedish psychiatric institution, and would like to be married.
The two convicted murderers, Isakin Jonsson, 33, and Michelle Gustafsson, 23, are currently at the high security wing of the Karsuddens facility. Gustaffson said, "I want to cut the throats of people on the subway," according to the Daily Mail.
The vampire is in the ward beacuse of her bloodlust: she stabbed and drank the blood of her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Stenman. The cannibal's taste for humankind's culinary delights also landed him there; he reportedly sawed off the head of his girlfriend and ate her.
Jonsson said "I love Michelle — have never met anyone like her. I want to live a non-criminal life," according to The Sun.
Chances are that will be impossible, since they both avoided going to jail by agreeing to permanent stays at the mental institution.
