Without citing sources, the newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo says Barack Obama will travel to Brazil in March. While former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s friendliness toward Iran had angered the U.S., Lula’s successor has been more critical, particularly of Iran's treatment of women. And observers are taking this as one sign that Rousseff hopes for closer ties to the White House.
