War-torn Mogadishu has been a focus of CIA activity in the past, now a report in a US magazine says the agency is once more operating in the city.
A report in this week’s edition of The Nation magazine claims the CIA has a secret base in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, and assists interrogations of terrorist suspects, some of whom are ‘rendered’ from other countries.
It makes for interesting reading, showing that the ‘war on terror’ is far from over in this part of the world.
