Bernard Madoff's daughter-in-law would spit in his face if she saw him today, telling the ABC News show "20/20" "I hold him fully responsible for killing my husband."

Stephanie Madoff-Mack, whose husband Mark — Bernie Madoff's son — committed suicide in the wake of his father's $50 billion Wall Street swindle, is the first member of the family to speak publicly about it.

Mark Madoff hanged himself in his New York apartment on Dec. 11, 2010, the second anniversary of his father's arrest for perpetrating the biggest Ponzi scheme in U.S. history.

The NYPD said at the time that the 46-year-old was discovered by a relative.

In the "20/20" interview, to air Friday, Madoff-Mack told reporter Chris Cuomo that is she saw Bernie Madoff today:

"I would tell him that I hold him fully responsible for killing my husband… And I'd spit in his face."

Madoff-Mack — left to raise her two children with Mark Madoff — is speaking out in advance of the release of her new autobiography, "The End Of Normal: A Wife's Anguish, A Widow's New Life" on Oct. 20.

Her publisher, Blue Rider Press, bills the book as the "first genuine account" of the Madoff scandal from a relative, the New York Daily News reports.

Mack, who is scheduled to appear next Monday on "Good Morning America," has also revealed a jailhouse letter she received from Madoff after his son's death.
