NEW YORK – The historic Woolworth Mansion on the Upper East Side has hit the Manhattan rental market for $150,000 a month.
The New York Daily News reported the mansion built in 1916 by shopping magnate Frank Woolworth to resemble his famous skyscraper, is now the most expensive rental, ever.

Among other amenities, the townhouse has a dining room that seats 50 attached to a solarium, while the master bedroom has two sitting rooms and two large bathrooms, according to the Daily News.
On the third floor, there is a wood-paneled library, wet bar, and powder room.
The New York Observer confirmed the townhouse is owned by the estate of late exercise guru Lucille Roberts, who were originally asking for $210,000 a month when it came on the market in March 2011.
Real estate brokers Brown Harris Stevens told the Observer the estate wants to lease the house for at least two years.
