Actor Will Smith arrives at the 2012 Governors Awards in Hollywood, California on December 1, 2012. Smith surprised students at St. Martin’s School in London on March 7, 2013 after asking to see “London’s Harlem.”
Shouldn’t Will Smith have asked to see England’s version of “west Philadelphia?”
The “Men in Black” star surprised a school assembly full of screaming girls on Thursday in London’s Lambeth and Brixton neighborhoods after asking his tour guides to take him to “London’s Harlem.”
Specifically, politicians Chuka Umunna and Tessa Jowell took Smith to St. Martin’s School in Tulse Hill.
They also visited a music venue and coffee shop, the Telegraph said.
At the school, Smith spoke to students and led them during a rendition of his theme song from his TV show, “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.”
Of course, that includes the famous line, “In west Philadelphia, born and raised.”
He also delivered some inspirational words and answered questions, Yahoo News reported.
Smith is in London with his son, Jaden, who is supporting Justin Bieber during appearances at the O2 Arena.
