Wedding strippers lead Chinese man into jail

GlobalPost

A pair of wedding strippers have caused a Chinese man to be arrested, Reuters reported.

Zhang Cheng, from Xuzhou in eastern Jiangsu province, had originally wanted a "trumpet band" to play at his son's wedding to liven it up, but was told he could get performers whose show would have "special features".

According to Global Times, Zhang watched the show and decided that it would be appropriate for his son's wedding. He requested two strippers for the wedding.

However, five minutes into the show, hundreds of villagers in Zhang's "conservative community" were swarming to the venue, trying to catch a glimpse of the two women.

Zhang was arrested the next day, the newspaper reported, though it did not say on what charge.
