VIDEO: Korea’s Psy teaches Britney Spears to ‘Gangnam Style”

GlobalPost

Britney Spears was schooled in the ways of Gangnam Style when Korean Internet sensation Psy paid her a surprise visit on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Psy, whose real name is Jae-Sang Park, is the mastermind behind the Internet smash hit 'Gangnam Style' with it's iconic invisible horse dance. The video  more than 150 million hits on YouTube.

USA Today reports that Britney Spears tweeted out her love for the Korean rapper saying, "I am LOVING this video. Thinking that I should possibly learn the choreography. Anybody wanna teach me?!"

Psy surprised the pop princess, who appeared on Ellen with X-Factor judge Simon Cowell.

Psy even approved of Britney's attempt to do the dance wearing 5 inch heels, reports the Huffington Post. "The mindset of this dance is to dress classy and dance cheesy," Psy advised.

It appears that Psy's moment in the sun is not over yet. He's scheduled to appear on the Today show on Friday morning. The singer/rapper also signed a deal with Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, who was also responsible for the summer's other hit, Carly Rae Jepson's 'Call me Maybe'.

GlobalPost's Asia Editor Emily Lodish explains the message behind the music.
