Jon Huntman's daughters are at it again, this time with a musical parody they hope will help generate buzz for their father's bid for Republican presidential candidate.
The song, which is set to the tune of Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack" includes sound bites from the other candidates, who they refer to as "one big circus act."
The daughters — Abby, 25, Liddy, 23, and Mary Anne, 26 — seem to be familiar with their father's campaign.
They insist that former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman Cain, can’t explain how his "9-9-9" economic plan "will get us back in shape." Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is lambasted for his flip-flopping on abortion, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich for hating on the media, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry for his "oops" moments. Rep. Ron Paul is taunted for his call to audit the Federal Reserve Bank, and Rep. Michele Bachmann for wanting to repeal ObamaCare.
The daughters have already become popular under their twitter handle Jon2012girls, the New York Daily News reported.
Jay Newton-Small at Time Magazine blog, Swampland, writes:
Ehrm, those are his daughters. So many Oedipal/Electra issues here I don’t even know where to begin.
She's not the only one with a tongue in cheek response.
