Tom Cruise visits daughter Suri in New York

NEW YORK – Actor Tom Cruise, who is in the midst of a divorce from Katie Holmes, visited his daughter Suri in the Big Apple on Tuesday.
According to the Huffington Post, Cruise and Suri have reportedly not seen each other in person since the divorce announcement. Instead, they have been talking via video chat while Cruise was on set in Iceland for his latest movie "Oblivion", the New York Post reported.
The visit comes just over two weeks after Holmes filed for divorce and moved to New York. She is seeking sole custody of their daughter Suri.
The couple reached a divorce settlement on July 7.
People magazine reported Cruise was spotted carrying Suri into a hotel.
Holmes has made numerous public appearances with Suri in the past two weeks around New York City including visits to restaurants and Central Park Zoo.
