Thailand: KFC apologizes for tsunami-related bargain

As millions of civilians in nations around the Indian Ocean fled in terror to higher ground following a tsunami scare on Wednesday, an enterprising person in charge of the Thailand Kentucky Fried Chicken Facebook page posted the following message:
"Let's hurry home and follow the earthquake news. And don't forget to order your favorite KFC menu."
Surely Mr. KFC was on higher ground, for as soon as the message was discovered, it sparked widespread condemnation.
"Hundreds of angry commenters on Thai web boards denounced the company as insensitive and selfish," the Associated Press wrote, prompting the group to replace the post with one that instead begs for forgiveness.
Hopefully next time there's a disaster, this social networking guru won't use his altitudinal advantage to hustle fowl food.
