Spurs guard Tony Parker suing over Drake, Chris Brown NYC bar fight

GlobalPost

French basketball player and San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is suing a New York nightclub for $20 million. Parker is seeking compensation for eye injuries he suffered when a fight broke out between Chris Brown and Drake at the W.i.P. earlier this month.

Parker said his injury has lef him "unable to attend to his usual duties and vocation," CNN said, quoting court documents.

Parker's suit said he suffered a corneal laceration among other injuries. It accuses the club's owner of not providing sufficient security to prevent brawls between high-profile celebs from breaking out.

That fight left Brown and his model girlfriend injured. It may have started with an argument over Brown's ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Parker has a $50 million contract with the Spurs and is playing for the French national basketball team in the Olympics next month, Detroit Free Press noted
