Source: Kim and Kanye are expecting a baby girl

There could soon be more girl power added to the mainly-female Kardashian clan.

Pregnant Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West are are thrilled to be having a baby girl, a source told Us Weekly.

"They're over the moon!" a source close to the first-time parents-to-be tells Us. "Kanye always wanted a girl."

Kardashian, 32, confirmed her pregnancy on Dec 31 after West, 35, shouted the news to packed crowd of fans at a Dec 30 concert.

"It's true. Kanye and I are expecting a baby," Kardashian said in a statement.

"We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us."

A source told Hollywood Life that the pair are thrilled over their impending pink bundle.

"Kim has always dreamed of having a little girl and now she has her wish!" the source told the website.

"Everyone is so excited. Now it's pink, pink, pink!"

Regardless of the baby's gender, it's going to be one well dressed tot.

"If anyone knows Kanye, they just know how into fashion he is, and I think he's going to have things specially made," Kardashian told Jimmy Kimmel in January, reports the Huffington Post.

"So I don't think hand-me-downs are going to work."

In addition to worry about their unborn child's wardrobe, Kim is also paying careful attention to her health.

"I used to always say I can't wait to get pregnant because I will just eat whatever I want, but it's completely different," Us Weekly reports Kim told the spring issue of Du Jour magazine.

"I'm like, OK, I want to eat as healthy as possible. Though lately I've been watching shows like I'm Pregnant and Addicted to Meth. It definitely makes me feel better if I'm wanting one sip of Diet Coke or, you know, too much sugar. I'm like, This woman is on meth."
