Sex toy burglar: $1,000 in unmentionables stolen in Illinois

Forget jewelry and big-screen TVs. A burglar in Illinois is accused of stealing $1,000 in sex toys.
The victim, who sells sex toys for a living, called police after returning to her Galesburg, Ill., home Monday night from a sex toy convention in Las Vegas to find her place "ransacked," police told the Peoria Journal Star.

The woman's laptop, TV and other high-priced electronics hadn't been touched.
But a pink Adidas bag containing the sex toys and antibiotics was missing, the Galesburg Register-Mail reported.

Just what would make someone steal $1,000 in sex toys? Police aren't sure yet.
"There are a lot of odd ducks out there," Galesburg police Capt. Rod Riggs told the Journal Star.
There was no sign of forced entry, but police believe the burglar may have known the woman. Galesburg is a small town, and "everybody knows she (sells sex toys) because she tells everybody," Riggs said. "That's how she promotes the business."
