A new sculpture of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin currently on display at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago is raising eyebrows.

A vast metal head with a gaping mouth, the Palin bust doubles as an oven. In the video below it is seen being used to roast a whole pig.

The Bridgeport Art Center is hosting the J. Taylor Wallace sculpture, which is called "We're havin' a Tea Pear-ody," according to the Los Angeles Times. The Palin stove roasted a "suckling pig" to celebrate the opening day of the museum's sculpture garden.

"The smoke from the roasting process will billow from the sculpture’s head, which is adorned with hair ratted up in a high bun just like the real Palin," wrote CBS Chicago.

As it roasts its contents, Palin's mouth is full of fire and her eyes glow red, according to reports. Chicagoist posted a gallery of images of "Tea Pear-ody."

Wallace told reporters his sculpture "was kind of in response to the political climate at that time, when the healthcare debate was going on. I thought she was a distraction from what was important, and it was cathartic to spend three months doing it…. It helped me out a lot," according to the LA Times.
