Roger Waters, formerly of Pink Floyd, has outsold both Bruce Springsteen and Madonna this summer, to become the top-selling live act so far this year, according to Pollstar magazine.
Waters racked up $158.1 million in ticket sales for his 'The Wall Live' show, Reuters reported.
Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band's Wrecking Ball tour iearned $79.9 million, while Madonna has sold $42 million in tickets for her "MDNA" world tour that kicked off May 31 in Tel Aviv.

However, as Pollster mentioned, Madonna "has yet to hit North America [and] also has an outside shot" at finishing 2012 with the top tour.
CBS News reported that in the US and North America, Cirque du Soleil's touring show "Michael Jackson: The Immortal" was the "hottest ticket" with $78.5 million in sales beating Waters in the local market.
Ticket sales are up for 2012, due to tours from Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Paul McCartney, according to Reuters.
