Hundreds of thousands of protesters from all over France filled the streets in Paris over the weekend to show support for a proposed marriage equality bill.
French police estimated there were 125,000 in attendance. Organizers and group leaders reported 400,000 participants, according to Reuters.

On Tuesday, parliament will debate the bill, a proposal French Prime Minister Francois Hollande promised to introduce during his election campaign.
Despite some opposition, polls show the bill has garnered a large base of support, AFP reports.
