You’d think someone would have more tact than committing a crime against baby Jesus.
Two separate baby Jesus figurines were recently snatched from their Nativity scenes in Fredericksburg, Va. just as the winter holiday is kicking into high-gear.

Both their disappearances from a local shopping center led to a police investigation, that led to the retrieval of one of the figurines on last Thursday, thanks to Facebook and a not-so-bright prankster.
A concerned citizen saw a woman’s Facebook page with a picture of the stolen baby Jesus and notified police, according to the Free Lance Star.
Police found the home of where the Christ child was kept and posted an update on the force’s Facebook page “Baby Jesus recovered!” the Washington Post reported.
The borderline prank was no laughing matter to some, however. Nearly 52 percent believe swiping a baby Jesus from a Nativity scene is a serious crime, according to a non-scientific poll by Free Lance Star.
