Nicki Minaj supports Obama says Romney endorsement was sarcasm

Apparently, President Obama knows his rappers.

On Monday, the president told an Orlando hip-hop station he wasn’t sure Nicki Minaj was being serious when she rapped she'd be "voting for Mitt Romney."

“I’m not sure that’s actually what happened,” Obama said in a radio interview, according to ABC News.

As GlobalPost recently reported, in a new single titled "Dedication 4" off of fellow rapper Lil Wayne's mixtape, Minaj says, "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy b—-es is f—ing up the economy."

Minaj, who is Black, finally broke her silence saying the President was indeed, right, and she would be supporting him this November.

The song's lyrics have made waves on the radio and political channels as fans and pundits alike have tried to determine whether Minaj was in fact throwing her weight behind the Republican presidential candidate. Here's an excerpt, but be warned, it contains explicit language.
