Neil Diamond, the popular singer responsible for massive hits such as "Sweet Caroline," married his manager on Saturday, US Weekly reported. Diamond is 71, but his new wife Katie McNeil is much younger at age 42.
The couple tied the knot in Los Angeles in front of close friends and family, People Magazine reported.

Diamond announced his engagement last September in a Twitter-rap: "Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you're the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well," he said, according to People.
McNeil and Diamond met when she produced the 2009 documentary "Neil Diamond: Hot August Night NYC," CBS News reported.
Billboard.com said that McNeil has also produced films about Motley Crue and Public Enemy.
This is Diamond's third marriage. He was married to Jayne Posner from 1963 to 1969 and to Marcia Murphy from 1969 to 1995, Billboard reported.
"Katie and I got married last night, we wish you all could've been there," Diamond posted on his Twitter account. "It was magical! Love, Neil."
