Naomi Campbell hurt in Paris mugging attempt

Wondering why Naomi Campbell has been using crutches and a wheelchair to get around lately?

It was revealed today that the British supermodel was the victim of a violent attempted mugging in Paris in November.

The New York Post reported Campbell was getting into a car in the historic 4th Arrondissement when two men on a motorcycle tried to snatch her handbag. 

The 42-year-old suffered a torn ligament in the attack, the BBC reported.

Sky News reported Campbell refused to see a doctor when she reported the attack to police.

Campbell told the New York Post that she was “fine,” but declined to comment further on the incident.
