Mark Zuckerberg’s sister, Arielle, now works at Google

GlobalPost

We'd want an invite to the Zuckerberg Thanksgiving.

Arielle Zuckerberg is the younger sibling of Mark Zuckerberg, the creater of Facebook. According to the New York Daily News, Arielle works as a product manager at Wildfire Interactive, a social media ad firm that helps businesses advertise on sites like her big brother's. Normally this would be a win-win, but just yesterday Wildfire Interactive was purchased by Google, a major rival to Facebook.

Arielle Tweeted about the news, "I am in Israel on Birthright and I just found out that I am now a Google employee. Not gonna lie…This feels pretty awkward, but I also feel very proud to be a part of the Wildfire team on this exciting day for Alain and Victoria."

Arielle and Mark's sister Randi, who at one time led Facebook's marketing and social team, also Tweeted the news saying, "There are officially now more Zuckerberg family members working for Google than Facebook! #awkward."

It isn't like Mark is leaving his sisters out of the Facebook family either. According to Business Insider, Mark reportedly tried to get Arielle to work for him, but she went her own way and started working at Wildfire Interactive in June.

Google would not comment on its new employee, but it did tell CNN, "We're looking forward to creating new opportunities for our clients to engage with people across all social services."
