Man drives truck into Taco Bell to protest missing taco

People often say that you can tell a lot about a man by how he treats his waiter. In that case, the girlfriend of a man who allegedly drove his truck into a Taco Bell should be terrified.

Police say Michael Smith pulled into a Taco Bell drive-thru in Ohio after midnight today with his girlfriend and ordered a combo meal, ABC-22 reported. But he didn't receive top-notch service. "We forgot a taco," Taco Bell employee Kristen Winans told ABC. Smith returned to the restaurant to yell at the workers for messing up his order, according to Winans. "He was very sarcastic and rude."

Winans said that employees apologized and agreed to give the man his 99-cent-taco. But at that point, the damage had been done. It apparently was not the taco Smith was angry about, but the principle of Taco Bell forgetting a taco. After Smith left the restaurant, he drove his truck into the front window of the business, WDTN reported.

Smith fled the scene, but left behind a trail of automotive fluid. Police traced it back to his house and arrested him, WHIO-TV reported. Sergeant Chris Kash told WDTN that Smith admitted to hitting the building and now faces a felony vandalism charge.
